hello there

My name is Sarah Baulch and I am the Company Director of ReVampt. I completed an Art and Design degree where I specialised in Painting, Print-making and Textiles. My website http://www.sarahlouisebaulch.co.uk/ features my paintings and hand painted ceramics.
The idea for ReVampt has happened quite organically. It combines my creative skills with my concern for our Environment and the way we are treating our planet. I believe that the current cycle of consuming and disposing needs to be broken in a proactive manner. That we can do something together to make changes. I design each piece, this ensures they are all unique, beautiful and eco-friendly.
All my life I have recycled textiles, furniture, garden waste but this wasn't always for 'green' reasons. We made hand sewn patchwork cushions as children, my parents filled the house with antique (ie secondhand) furniture and my father re leathered my mothers clogs every year. They were hippies and I have inherited the way they saw the world to a large degree. It seems to me that this is a way of life we should embrace. Making something new from something old means that your home is filled with objects with history, that connect with you and the past. Giving something a new lease of life is satisfying and of course friendly to the environment.
At ReVampt we are happy to collect your unwanted clothing and recycle it to make soft furnishings for the home. Equally we would love to work with you and produce a collection for your home made up of the clothes you can't bear to throw away. Or if you are a company that produces textile waste, let us take it off your hands and give it a new lease of life.
